WHAT TO EXPECT
Many people at one time in their lives were part of a church, but somewhere along the line they checked out—the sermons didn’t make sense, the music was dull, the people were unfriendly, attitudes were judgmental or maybe it just seemed like money and politics were more important than people.

At Sunshine, we’re trying to be different. We’re far from perfect, but we are real. And we believe that trusting in Jesus Christ and following Him is life’s highest priority and greatest experience.

BEFORE THE SERVICE
Our Sunday morning worship service meets at 10:30 AM. Our hope is to provide a worship experience that blends traditional and contemporary styles of music. So whether you prefer traditional hymns or more contemporary praise and worship music, you should find something you desire. Our goal is worship that is welcoming and vibrant, and in the spirit of celebrating God. You can click here for directions.

KID STUFF
Our staffed nursery is a fun, safe place for all children ages birth to three years old. And a special children’s activity bulletin is available for kids ages 3-12. Please feel free to ask one of our ushers to help you find what you need.

GET SETTLED
At Sunshine, you’ll notice people of all ages and all walks of life. An usher will give you a program, which includes information about all of the opportunities at Sunshine. Sit wherever you feel the most comfortable.

DURING THE SERVICE
Singing:
Not everyone worships the same way—some sing out, clap their hands, raise their hands to God or just quietly reflect on the words. You're welcome to worship in a way that is comfortable for you and considerate of others.

Offering:
Each week, Sunshine’s regular attendees are invited to worship God through the taking of an offering. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. Giving is an act of worship that allows us to thank God for all He has done for us in Jesus Christ.

Message:
Our pastors do their best to preach sermons that build a bridge between the message of the Bible and the everyday life of people today. We seek to show the relevance of scripture in everyday life by preaching about sin and grace in simple, everyday language. Jesus had a way of bringing high truths down to the bottom shelf without compromising the greatness of the message. We strive to do the same. Recent message are available here.

Communion:
Typically, on the third Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion together. All who confess their sins and trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and eternal life are invited to His table. We welcome those visiting Sunshine to receive communion. Following communion, it is our practice to receive a benevolent offering—we call it our “Helping Hand Fund”—for those in our church and community that are in need.

AFTER THE SERVICE
Following our worship service some refreshments will be served in our fellowship hall. We hope you will say a little bit longer and join us for a time of food and friendship.
