My wife Amy and our three kids, Jacob, Elizabeth and Andrew, are really glad to call Holiday and Sunshine LB Church our home. We moved here from Wisconsin in 2006, and we’ve come to be grateful for the great friends and fun experiences that we’ve discovered here. We really appreciate being able to raise our family in a community like this.

I get pretty excited about a lot of things in life: I love spending time with my family. I’m crazy about good stories—well-crafted movies, powerful books, and well-told personal tales really energize me.  I’m pretty passionate about the Green Bay Packers. (What do you expect from a Wisconsin guy?) I love the arts—music, drama, drawing, painting, etc.—especially as an expression of worship. I love to teach, especially when I have the privilege of seeing people have an “a-ha!” moment. Those instants where people come to a new, deeper place in their relationship with Jesus Christ are precious to me. But I guess the thing that I get most excited about are those times when I’m caught off guard by God’s rich and extravagant grace and mercy for a sinner like me. Most days, I’m content just to know that I belong to Jesus.
